Ole Jakob Ihlebæk , born 1948 in Fredrikstad, Norway, is educated at The Norwegian State Academy in Oslo.

As  painter he mostly works with figurative  compositions where still life, interiors, houses, and the human head appears as a theme.

As  sculptor the subject mostly is heads,  portraits, as well as more expressive improvised heads. You also can find OP ART and mixed media wall sculptures.
